2Lt Paulo Alves, Academic Instructor
2nd Lt Paulo Alves is a member of the Long Island Senior Squadron 207, Long Island Group, New York Wing. In his short time in the Civil Air Patrol he achieved several ratings such as scanner, observer and CAP pilot, as well as ground badges. He also participated at many group and national encampments such as Hawk Mountain.
Paulo Alves is an A1C at the USAFR, working at Air Transportation at the 88 APS at McGuire AFB, NJ. He holds a degree in Audio Engineering and is a senior at Embry-Riddle where he is pursuing a B.S. in Aeronautics. He is also an instrument rated pilot working on his commercial license.
