Travel Instructions for Arrival and Departure

ARRIVING BY CAR:

You will receive an email with instructions on where and when to report.

DEPARTING BY CAR:

You may depart Friday night after the banquet. If departing by car on Saturday, you must be picked up no later than 0800

ARRIVING VIA COMMERCIAL AIRPLANE:

Your airplane ticket will be paid for and purchased by CAP.  DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR OWN TICKET.  You will fly into GTR (GoldenTriangleAirport) in Columbus, MS.   You will be met by a CAP Officer and then transported by CAP van or USAF bus to SUPTFC.

General Rules for flying:

If you have an extended delay in your air travel, please try to call us when this happens so we know where you are. Call the SUPTFC Command Post.  This number will be provided in a separate email.  That is why it is important to have a calling card or cell phone, if possible.

Other travel information:

When you arrive, you will call your parents to let them know that you have arrived safely. After Saturday, your parents can reach you at the number given in the email you will receive.  If there is an emergency at home, tell your parents to call this number and not anywhere else on base. This will expedite them getting in touch with you.
