Cadet Antonio More
Antonio Gemma Moré joined Civil Air Patrol on September 18th 2001 as part of the Tullahoma Composite Squadron in Tullahoma TN. He has attended numerous wing, region, and national cadet activities including Tennessee Wing Encampment (2003), South-East Region Cadet Leadership School (2004), two National Glider Flight Academies(2004, 2005) , one National Powered Flight Academy (2006), Civic Leadership Academy (2007), Cadet Officer School (2007), Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training Familiarization Course (2007), International Cadet Air Exchange to Canada (2007) and Australia (2008), and the National Cadet Competition (2008). He is now a Cadet Colonel in Civil Air Patrol, acting as the Special Assistant to the Tennessee Wing Glider Program Manager.
In the fall of 2008, Antonio began college at Tennessee Technological University with a major in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. He plans to complete his Masters in Aviation Systems at the University of Tennessee Space Institute before entry into the United States Air Force with the eventual goal of serving as a test pilot. Antonio earned his Private Pilot’s License through a Civil Air Patrol scholarship, and has logged a little over one-hundred hours in aircraft varying from a de Havilland DHC-2 Beaver to an AT-6D Texan while he continuing to pursue his glider and instrument rating as well as a tail wheel endorsement.
