Cadet Ryan Jones
Ryan Jones joined Civil Air Patrol in 2005 at the Flying Castle Composite Squadron, Tinker Air Force Base, OK. He has attended Wing Encampments, Cadet Officer School and SUPT-FC. He is now a 2d Lt. in Civil Air Patrol and also attended SUPT-FC in 07,08,09 as ROTC Staff.
In the fall of 2006, Ryan Jones began college at the University of Oklahoma to major in aviation with a minor in aerospace studies and business. He contracted with AFROTC at Detachment 675 and plans to graduate and commission in 2010. Ryan Jones is a commercial pilot with instrument, multi and CFI ratings. He gained his private pilots license through a CAP scholarship.
Ryan Jones received an Air Force pilot slot in the spring of 2009 and will begin UPT in 2011. He wants to fly either the A-10 or the C-17. If you have any questions about the Air Force, ROTC, being a pilot or the pilot medical feel free to contact him at rjones@ou.edu
