Lt Col Ike Algaze, T-6 Academic Instructor
Lt Col Algaze is a former CAP Biily Mitchell cadet and attended the University of Oklahoma. He was commisioned as a 2Lt in 1983 after four years in AFROTC. Lt Col Algaze attended pilot training at Laughlin AFB, Del Rio, TX. He received his Air Force pilot wings in September 1984 and remained at Laughlin for another four years as a T-37 Instructor Pilot and Academic Instructor. After his tour at Laughlin, Lt Col Algaze was assigned to the 38th Strategic Reconnaissance Squadron at Offut AFB, Nebraska where he flew world wide reconnaissance missions and served in Desert Storm and Desert Shield. Lt Col Algaze separated from active duty in 1991 and after a four year break from flying in the reserves, Lt Col Algaze flew the KC-135R tanker, the T-37 and most recently the T-6. Lt Col Algaze is a 16 year veteran of Delta Airlines and currently flies as a 737-800 Captain based in Atlanta, GA. Lt Col Algaze resides in Peachtree City with wife Maria, son Andrew and daughter Rebekah.
