Lt Col Paul Shadle, T-6 Academic Instructor
Lt Col Paul Shadle graduated as an Air Force ROTC Distinguished Graduate from Kent State University with a BS in Aeorspace Technology and from Webster University with a MA in Computer Resource and Information Management. After attending UPT at Vance AFB in 1993, Lt Col Shadle was assigned to Space Command at Peterson AFB where he flew the C-21 Learjet. After 3 years, he was re-assigned to the 50th airlift squadron at Little Rock AFB to fly the C-130H3. While with the 50th, he was deployed to Saudi Arabia, Germany and Africa. Lt Col Shadle was then selected as the top 5% of all captains in Air Mobility Command to participate in the Phoenix Hawk program. Though the program, he spent two years at HQ Air Mobility Command, as an airlift scheduler and the C-130 acquistions officer. Lt Col Shadle left active duty in 2001 and joined the MN Air National Guard. The, he once again flew the mighty C-130H3 and was deployed to Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Pakistan in support of the global war on terror and for operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. He currently works for the 3M Company as a corporate pilot flying the Gulfstream V business jet. As an Air Force Reservist, Lt Col Shadle enjoys working with the Civil Air Patrol.
Paul has accumlated over 3500 hours of military flying and graduated from C-21, C-130 and Squadron Officer Schools with Distinguished Graduate honors. He currently lives in Minneapolis, MN with his wife Barri and their two boys.
