Capt Dixon is now a C-5 Pilot at Dover AFB, DE.
I am slated to start Student Undergraduate Pilot Training in February of 2003 as a proud member of Class 04-06 at Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi. Currently I am on casual student status, which is a term used for AF students waiting to begin their training and who are already on active duty. I work in the 41st Flying Training Squadron as the computer guy. My awesome Air Force Career began at the age of twelve when I joined CAP in October of 1992. Since that time I have been a member of CAP, JROTC, ROTC, and as a commissioned officer (finally, thank goodness) in the USAF. My goal is to fly jets for the USAF, and it has been ever since I joined CAP all those years ago. I went to SUPTFC in the summer of 1995 here at Columbus AFB. I can say that not only did this program make me want to fly even more than I did before, but it also showed me what AF pilot training was, and still is, all about. Knowing at what an early age CAP cadets start planning their life long careers I would strongly recommend attending SUPTFC to see if AF pilot training is for you, no matter what age you might be (or are allowed to attend at), I was 15.
