Lt Col Davidson, I’m Aaron Sands & attented the AETCFC in the summer of 2000 and came back as the first cadre cadets in 2001 at Columbus.
I was origninally in your T-38 squadron. We had some CAP cadets come by where I work now (im on casual at Peterson AFB) and they mentioned that they had been or were going to go to this program and i couldnt say enough good about it. You really do a great job over there and it gave me a lot of motivation and confidence to pursue UPT – getting the top gun award was pretty cool. I ended up doing AFROTC at UT Austin and now my UPT date is July 6th 2007 at Laughlin.
Thank you again for helping run a great program. I still have my wings – I wear them in my flight cap (concealed under the fold of course!) and look forward to putting them on my blues sometime soon.
